About Me
My journey in film began during my senior year of high school when I joined Thundervision, our school’s broadcast and video production program. There, I discovered my passion for storytelling through moving images; learning how to edit, operate a camera, and produce student videos. It was my first real taste of filmmaking, and I’ve been chasing that creative spark ever since. After graduating, I enrolled at Utah Valley University as a Digital Cinema major. Initially, I planned to pursue post-production, drawn to the rhythm and precision of editing. But after gaining more on-set experience and exploring different aspects of filmmaking, I found myself captivated by directing; the collaboration, the vision, and the emotional connection it demands. I took a brief two-year break from school, but my love for the craft never faded. During that time, I stayed creative through photography, continuing to develop my eye for composition and storytelling. When I returned to UVU, I came back with renewed motivation and purpose, determined to finish strong. Some of my production experience includes working on Prom Night’s FEMME project and interning at Vanishing Angle Studios during the summer of 2025, where I had the incredible opportunity to work on their upcoming feature film, The Edge of Normal, starring Chloë Grace Moretz and Rupert Friend. I spent nearly three months on set, witnessing the intensity and artistry that go into a professional film production. Now, as a junior in college, I’m developing my capstone short film, a project that reflects everything I’ve learned and everything I want to become as a filmmaker. My ultimate goal is to one day win an Academy Award for Best Director or Best Picture; not just for the recognition, but to know that the stories I tell can truly move people.
